Ceremony

6:00 pm

The Court of Two Sisters
613 Royal Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

Cocktail attire. The ceremony will be taking place in a historic courtyard with cobblestones, so you may want to rethink stilettos. We will be outside so dress for the weather!

Please budget enough time to arrive at the ceremony promptly given there may be extra traffic due to the NCAA Final Four game happening this evening.

Second Line Parade

6:30 pm

Streets of the French Quarter
LA

In between the ceremony and reception we will be having a traditional New Orleans Second Line parade through the French Quarter! The parade will start at the ceremony location and return to the same location where the space will have been transformed for the reception. The wedding Second Line celebrates the newlyweds as they embark on a new life together. A brass band leads the bridal party and the guests from the reception venue. All guests who want to join in on the celebration follow behind the band and the newlyweds, dancing and strutting to the lively music with handkerchiefs.

Reception

7:00 pm

In traditional New Orleans fashion, the wedding will be a Cocktail Reception. Instead of a formally seated dinner, the night will consist of heavy passed items and open action stations and buffets. Seating is left open for guests to choose their own seats and tables. We will have our first dance near the beginning of the reception, opening the dance floor immediately for our guests' enjoyment and to take full advantage of the live music!
