Gamla Stan, or Old Town is such a great area to walk around in. The buildings are kept the same going hundreds of years back. It is also close to the Royal Castle of Sweden.
Fjäderholmarna
Take the ferry out to Fjäderholmarna from Nybrokajen, Skeppsbron, or Nacka strand. Book a table at Rökeriet and enjoy this small and unique island.
Sandhamn
Sandhamn is another beautiful island in the Archipelagos. You can take the ferry from Stavsnäs, Strömkajen, or Vaxholm. It is 2 hours with the ferry. Check out Sandhamn Seglarhotel, they have amazing seafood.

Skansen
This is a great place to go that is closely located to the other museums mentioned out on Djurgården. It is an open-air museum (the oldest in the world) and zoo. Sometimes culturally events or concerts are hosted here as well.
