You can go up and have a great view or enjoy the restaurant. Local tip: If you want to make GREAT PHOTOS from Berlin WITH Berliner Fernsehturm on the picture you need to go up to the hotel Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz Hotel and ask for the platform where you can make photos. I guess it’s with a fee of about 10 EUR but great pictures.

For those looking to truly geek out over WW2 history, check this location out. The Flak towers were huge fortified structures that survived the war, some only to be partially or completely removed afterwards. The primary role of these towers was as a gun platform which protected Berlin from Allied bomber raids.
