They are an amazing volunteer based rescue that frequents shelters in the surrounding areas that are way over capacity to give so many dogs a second chance. For those of you that had the privilege of meeting Mixie, Rocket Dog Rescue is where I found her. Her silly little underbite and indifferent attitude instantly caught my attention, and much to the dismay of my parents, she was the only dog I wanted. This rescue will always hold a special place in my heart. Aside from the sentimental attachment, they are an amazing rescue. They're a volunteer base rescue that takes on hard to place dogs from bully breeds to special medical cases. They ensure each dog is shown love and comfort while they search for their perfect forever home.
