Our Ceremony

Dressy casual. We will be spending the whole evening in the farm's garden so you may prefer to wear flats or wedges so you don't sink into the grass!
Please feel free to arrive as early as 4:00 (we want to spend as much time musing among the vegetables as possible!) and the ceremony will begin at 4:30. Elyssa's brothers, Adam and Christopher, will be joint-officiants and they've been working on their speech material since at least the 2005 Tri Con Palen Circle. You don't want to miss it! Transportation Schedule: - 3:30 pick up at Colonial Inn, 3:40 pick up at 1155 Lowell Road (where guests who are not staying in town can park in the field of our dear friends, The Schnitzers, or guests not staying in town are welcome to park in town and pick up the shuttle at the Colonial Inn) - 3:50 pick up at Colonial Inn, 3:40 pick up at Residence Inn Marriott, 4:00 pick up at 1155 Lowell Road - 10:00 shuttle back to cars and hotels

Our reception will be in the farm's garden and orchard immediately following the ceremony! There will be plenty of food for hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and dessert throughout this cocktail party-style reception; feel free to find a table to sit or mingle with friends amongst the wildflowers and herbs. We will have yard games and picnic blankets available. Our food will be prepared by the chefs of Saltbox Farm and their ingredients come from the fields and garden in which we'll be celebrating!

Concord is an old town and it gets sleepy earlier than all us young folks. Town noise and liquor ordinances mean the reception ends at 10:00 but that doesn't mean the celebration has to! For those of you who would like to join us, we will be continuing the party at the groomsmen's cottage in the back of the Colonial Inn in Concord Center. We'll have some more beverages and late night snacks on the porch.
