Jim's opening line in his first message to Elyssa on OK Cupid was, "Well hello, a skier eh?" and then he sang the praises of Ski Sundown for a little while. For those of you not from CT, Ski Sundown is like Nashoba Valley, a large hill with two lifts and six trails. A few messages later Elyssa would write, "Thinking of you skiing out west and then spending most of your outings back east at Ski Sundown makes me cry for you a little." Despite this bumpy start, we decided to grab drinks at The Iron Frog in downtown Simsbury on October 9th. A few weeks later, we got snowed in together (thanks Hurricane Sandy and the following Nor'easter) in Elyssa's tiny dorm apartment for three days and have basically been inseparable ever since.
