We planned for all the weekend's festivities to take place in Downtown Wilmington. We have chosen hotels that are walkable or at least a short drive to each venue. Wilmington also has ride share services, Uber and Lyft, so hopefully getting around town will be stress-free for all of our guests.

Flight

Travel by Air

If you choose to fly, the closest airport to downtown Wilmington is Wilmington International Airport (ILM). Wilmington International Airport is a quick 10 minute drive from downtown Wilmington, where all wedding events, hotel room blocks, and wedding-related festivities will be held. Uber/Lyft is accessible from there to your accommodation. Another close option is to fly into Myrtle Beach (MYR), rent a car, and drive 1.5 hours to Wilmington. If you prefer to fly into Charlotte or Raleigh, NC, car rentals are available to drive 3.5 hrs, or 2.5 hrs into Wilmington from there.

Travel by Land

Wilmington, NC is located about 420 miles from the Atlanta area (about 6 hour drive without account for stops). From downtown Atlanta, the easiest route takes you I-20 E through Augusta and South Carolina. For those who live in North Atlanta, you may prefer the I-85 N route.
