This is where we will be getting married, but there is so much more to explore. There are great hiking and biking trails, fishing options, boating options, and great places to both camp and picnic.
Although neither of us are climbers, word on the street is this is a great local climbing gem. It is also, for those less inclined to be held high up in the air by ropes, a great area for hiking, biking, and exploring. It also includes great picnicking and camping.
This is another great area for biking and hiking (and trail running!) with great spots for picnicking and camping.
Although slightly farther away from Cheyenne than the other outdoor recreation areas listed on this page, this is also a very beautiful area for exploring and is well worth the slightly farther drive. Really make a day of it by stopping in Centennial at the Beartree Tavern and Café for some great pizza or at any of the great restaurants in Laramie, WY on your way back to Cheyenne, WY.
Another restaurant we frequent with good food and drink options. And better yet, there is a cigar lounge for those looking for a great place to enjoy a cigar and drinks with friends, and there is a golf simulator that can be rented out to enjoy with friends while eating and drinking.
This is one our favorite restaurants in town, with great sushi and hibachi options.
With a knife to our throat, we would still not be able to pick the best pizza in town, so here is one option that we love.
The other fabulous local pizza option. We cannot pick and do not make us.
This Wyoming brewing company, native to Sheridan, WY, is a great place to hang out and enjoy a great atmosphere. One of our favorites for a good, local beer!
Another great place for a beer, this local favorite lets you pour your own beer and has a whole wall of great options.
Wyoming’s summer music festival. Located in the heart of downtown, Fridays on the Plaza features national, regional, and local bands that are free to enjoy all summer long. If you are in town the night before the wedding, check this out for a Downtown Cheyenne experience with music with several different food and drink options near by! Friday 8/6 will feature Eminence Ensemble with Galactic Lemonz.
A great place for a cup of coffee and a book or chat with friends with good options for a bite to eat!
Another local coffee favorite with good food and coffee and some great outdoor seating!
This is a fun, traditional city golf course that is open to the public.
Another local favorite golf course in Cheyenne, this course is a great, inexpensive option, offering a 9-hole course
We are big fans of a good round of competitive mini golf, and this one is located near the center of Cheyenne in a great local park (Lions Park). This park also has play grounds, a city pool, and great paths for running and biking.
A local museum featuring lots of Wyoming history and a FABULOUS train exhibit, this museum is cool and is occasionally manned by Quintin's grandfather, Dr. Tom Toft.
Another cool museum option with a great children's area for hands on exploring.
Also a great local museum that features some great children's areas for lots of exploring of Wymoming history.
