The location where we chose to be married, the amphitheater in Curt Gowdy State Park, has strict limitations on the number of people allowed at the venue due to both safety and parking. Due to this, we had to limit our guest list to the ceremony itself by quite a lot, with mostly immediate family. If you are unsure what you are invited to, check your invitation or check your rsvp link (which is on the invitation). If it is still unclear, please reach out and we would be happy to help!
We know there are several of you who may be disappointed by this situation and we apologize profusely in advance. This venue and this plan is what worked best for everyone involved and we regret the consequences of that decision. HOWEVER, everyone is invited to the wedding reception, and lets be honest, that is the more fun part with the free food and free drinks and great music and lots of dancing!
At this time, we are moving forward with the wedding ceremony and wedding reception as planned! We will provide masks if you wish to wear one, but it is not required.
If they are listed on the online RSVP or on the addressed invitation, then they are invited and may come! If they are not listed it is due to limitations on numbers and they will be sorely missed!
YES!!! We will be providing appetizers, dinner, and dessert. Come hungry!
As soon as possible, but recognizing the current situation, we know that this may be unrealistic. We do ask that you RSVP by June 26, 2021, but the sooner the better.
We will not be providing transportation to the ceremony, which is in Curt Gowdy State Park. If you are unsure of where to go for the ceremony, we provide directions on the schedule page of this website and we will have a designated person everyone can follow to the location if they wish! We ask that because there is limited parking at the site of the ceremony, if it is possible to carpool, please do so! It would be so much appreciated.
We will not be providing transportation to or from the reception, but there is some access to Lyft and Uber because the reception is in town. Because this is Wyoming, however, there is a limited supply of Uber and Lyft, so plan accordingly! Please drink responsibly! We care deeply about every single one of you and wish for you to have both a fun AND safe night!
If you are invited to the ceremony, please plan on being there at least 30 minutes early to accommodate for time for parking and for finding your seat. It is a beautiful area, so if you arrive early, you will just have more time to explore and take beautiful pictures!
Please arrive at the time listed for the reception to start! We will give plenty of leeway with timing, so if you arrive a little late you will not miss anything, but we do ask that you do not arrive early because, as many of you know, things are always coming together last minute!

Yes, as of right now, parking will be at the Converse Softball Complex for the reception and there is parking onsite for the ceremony! See the schedule page of this website for details and directions.
Your invitation states "mountain formal", however, this seems to be not the best description and is confusing. I think the best description would be dressy-casual to semi-formal. HOWEVER, dress as you feel comfortable, it matters more that you are able to make it than what you are wearing. ALSO, this is Wyoming, the weather is UNPREDICTABLE at best, so come prepared for wind, rain, hot, cold, whatever mother nature chooses to throw at us. We will have tents that will provide temporary shelter if the weather is really bad, but not everyone will be under a tent for the entirety of the reception. The wedding ceremony will be outside, rain, shine, or wind, so dress accordingly.

We would prefer to have phones and cameras off and away during the ceremony, we have a great photographer and plan on letting her capture those moments for us. Otherwise, take any and all pictures you want and post them as you would like! Please share with us, we would love to see all the memories of the wedding!
We will have plenty of options and plenty of food and make sure that you have enough food to fill you up. Please let us know when you RSVP what your food restrictions are, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
