Treasure Island is located in the middle of San Francisco and Oakland off the Bay Bridge. The island is car accessible. You can either drive, or take an Uber. Bus service is available, but can be unreliable.
We are getting married in a small family ceremony on Friday, July 20th in Dillon Beach by Tomales Bay. We saved the best part, the partying, to be with our friends and families on Saturday, July 21st!
We welcome you to come as you are. Wear something which makes you super happy and can have a good time in. Some of you have asked us to be more specific, so we would say "summer/beach wedding," think fun dresses, strappy heels/flats, light weight suit (tie totally optional), jacket with jeans...hope that helps cuz we're still confused! Ha! A word of caution...the Bay Area can get very chilly, especially at night. The party will be held both indoors and outdoors, so be prepared for sudden dips in temperature. Our friend Bernado will be DJ'ing for us, so be sure to wear shoes you can get down in!
Food will be provided by our favorite Bay Area food trucks, Hula Truck, SAJJ Mediterranean, and Lexie's Frozen Custard. It is a California wedding after all, so Vegan, Vegetarian, Paleo and Gluten-free options will be provided. Make sure to bring exact change. Just kidding. Eat to your hearts' content and we'll pick up the bill. Trucks will be serving from 6:30 - 9:30pm.
The Winery SF will offer a hosted bar with wine from their winery and select beers, as well as choices of non-alcoholic beverages.
We totally understand that plans change. Please kindly let us know as soon as possible so we can make arrangements with the venue and food vendors accordingly.
While we love you and your little tykes, this party is intended for adults only with exception to our nieces and nephews. However, we are happy to make arrangements for special circumstances. Please reach out to us if childcare is a consideration. We want to do everything possible to facilitate your ability to join us!
Elsa's last name "Pong" offers a cornucopia of options for puns as you may imagine. "Me long you Pong time" was an obvious choice, but Matt brought something to the hashtag table with his Initials, MEE (Matthew Eric Esch). It was a match made in hashtag heaven. MEE will also become our combined initials (Matt & Elsa Esch).
