Russian River Lodge

This is a three story large house with multiple rooms and beds with a full kitchen and small bar area on the top floor. This is ideal for singles, couples without children and groups of friends traveling together as there are some shared bedrooms/bathrooms. More of the “fun house” if you will. Located less than a mile from The Rendezvous Bar & Grill, (where you can grab a drink and a bite including their fresh and homemade Halibut and Salmon burgers) our award wining local coffee and sandwich shop Java Flats and the Fairgrounds where the wedding will take place. The lodge is blocked out for wedding guests from Sunday September 5th until Monday September 13th with prices being around $600 per person in a shared room for the entire stay to include breakfast. This equals about $75 a day making it a STEAL for this island. There are dozens of BnBs on the Island as well as vacation rental homes for reasonable prices. We would love for you and yours to join us here in Kodiak from September 5th until September 13th so you really get a chance to experience what Kodiak Alaska has to offer. However, we understand a journey this far can take up quite a bit of time, so if your stay needs to be condensed, we will be grateful and supportive.

Flight

Delta Airlines Alaska Airlines and RavnAir

Both Delta & Alaska Airlines will get you from your most convenient location in the lower 48 to Anchorage Alaska. From Anchorage you will need to take either Alaska or RavnAir to Kodiak Island. Both offer several flights a day on and off island.

Hotel

Best Western Kodiak Inn and Convention Center

The Best Western is located in downtown Kodiak near multiple restaurants, bars, museums, our local brewery, both City and the Near Island Harbors that offer quality Fishing Charters, and a beautiful view of the Kodiak Channel. Rooms have been blocked off at this hotel for guest wanting their stay to be a little more standard and private than what the Russian River Lodge or some of the VRBO's offer. Your stay at the Hotel includes complimentary breakfast and a shuttle to and from the Kodiak Airport. Please reserve by August.

We highly recommend renting a vehicle during your stay so you have every opportunity to take advantage of the sights and history of Kodiak Island. From seeing the World War II bunkers out at Abercrombie State Park to digging out your very own fossils out at Fossil Beach in Pasagshak. As well as countless trails to hike and beautiful northern beaches to explore.
