For Friday night's Sangeet, we are requesting guests wear festive Indian attire. For Saturday morning's Indian wedding ceremony, either Indian attire or formal attire is appropriate. For Saturday evening's Christian wedding ceremony at the Art Institute, we are requesting guests dress in black tie optional attire - tuxedos or dark suits and ties for men, and floor-length gowns for women. See our dress code tab for inspiration and more details!
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your wedding invitation.
Good question! There will be 3-4 hours between events where guests are welcome to do whatever they'd like - explore the city, grab a bite to eat, check out Chicago's bars, or put your feet up since it's a busy weekend. The bridal party will be using this time to change into their outfits for the evening and take photos. :)
All events are indoor, so we will be in good shape no matter the weather. Due to limited space in the museum, the ceremony at the Art Institute will be mostly standing room only (there will be some chairs for those that need them), so please choose your footwear appropriately. Don't worry, chairs will be available again at the cocktail hour and dinner!
An RSVP tab will be added to this website once invitations are sent out in early 2026 - Looking forward to seeing everyone in May!
