Travel Note

Transportation & Parking

The hotel is located two miles south of Indiana Landmarks. We suggest using a cab or ride-sharing service for transportation. (The commute is less than 10 minutes.) Indiana Landmarks Center parking is available in a brick lot on the north side of the property, along Central Avenue, along 12th street on the south side of the property, or in the Morris-Butler House private lot at 12th and Park. The Hyatt Place Downtown sits directly across the street from Banker's Life Fieldhouse, and while on-street metered parking is available, we recommend the hotel's valet parking. Cars are located in a garage to the north of the hotel and accessible via a catwalk from the second floor. Utilizing valet parking does come with in-out priviliges.

If you prefer the comforts of home, there are many Airbnb and VRBO listings near downtown. We recommend guests look for options in Fletcher Place, Fountain Square, the Old Northside, Mass Ave or Lockerbie Square.

Flight

Indianapolis International Airport

Indianapolis has a great airport located just seven miles southwest of downtown. It has been rated the best airport in America since 2012. There are car rental services, cabs, ride-sharing services - about $20 one way - and shuttles available if you need to get from the airport to downtown.
