This zoo is FREE to enter! When Ellie was 2 she went here everyday before the Canades moved to Wilmette. The bride highly recommends a visit for all animal lovers!

There are a few different companies that run architecture tours on the Chicago River, some of them have cash bars onboard. It's a great way to see the city, learn some of Chicago's interesting history, and sip on a drink on a boat! What more could you ask for?
Eataly Chicago
Check this place out! Amazing food, market, wine, coffee, everything! It's like a market of mini Italian restaurants and counters built into a large store. Even if you're not looking for a meal, it's worth exploring.
Chicago White Sox
White Sox games have been a favorite summer past time of Ellie's since she was a small child. I suppose you could see a Cubs game... just don't tell the father or brother of the bride (mother is sympathetic).
