(Pro tip: Choice Hotels will match Status from other hotel chains, which may result in things like early/late check-in and parking discounts). The hotel is 1.3 miles (about 5 minutes) from Burbank Airport, 30 miles (over an hour) from LAX and 12 miles (around 23 minutes) from the ceremony site at Reptacular Ranch. Given the remote location of the Ranch, this is close, trust us! Flying into Burbank may be more expensive from some destinations, but it's worth calculating that against the time and expense of getting to Burbank from LAX. Please note: the 1.3 miles from Burbank airport to the hotel are not walking friendly, even for New Yorkers.

Flying into Burbank or LAX?

Burbank Airport - BUR - (a smaller 2 terminal airport) is 1.3 miles from the hotel and about 15 miles from the wedding venue. There are fewer choices for flying in, but it'll be a much nicer experience! LAX is your larger airport option. It's about 30 miles from the hotel and can take anywhere from an hour to 2 hours to get to Burbank depending on the time of day. The ONLY advantage to LAX is that it has more options (including flights that may be cheeper) and direct flights (including Breeze Airways, the only non-stop flights between Los Angeles and Richmond, VA).

Go for it! Most of the options we've seen near(ish) the venue are larger houses that would be great for folks to rent as a family or a group.
