We've reserved a block of hotel rooms with a discounted rate at the Hyatt in Uncasville for Saturday October 5th (in case you're traveling from far away) and Sunday October 6th. IMPORTANT: Rooms in the block can no longer be booked through the link previously posted here (the original number have all been booked). Please call the number above and book over the phone for the same rate and same block Early check in can't be booked in advance. Shuttle

Bus from Hyatt Hotel in Uncasville to Wedding Ceremony at Harkness

There will be one shuttle bus departing at 2:40pm from the Hyatt hotel in Uncasville (see above) to the wedding venue at Harkness State Park. There will also be a return bus from the reception back to the Hyatt, departing Harkness at 9:30pm. If you are planning to drive to the venue, but prefer to take the bus back, you can leave your car overnight at Harkness. If you find yourself unsafe to drive at the end of the night, please take the bus! If you do leave your car at Harkness overnight, please be prompt in collecting your vehicle in the morning. You can arrange a taxi or Uber to take you to the park.

Train to New London Union Station

For those flying in or coming from New York or Boston without cars, there is a major train station in New London which serves both Amtrak and local "Shoreline" trains. (The Shoreline connects to the Metro North through New Haven, which may be useful for New Yorkers.) The train station is about 15 minutes drive from both the hotel and the wedding venue, and Ubers or cabs are usually available and reasonable in price because of the college and casino nearby.
