Parking is reserved at Harkness for the ceremony/reception. There will be a cordoned-off section of guest parking to the left of the parking lot as you come down the main driveway.
If you own a suit, wear the suit! If you don't own a suit, wear a jacket with dress pants and tie; if you don't own a jacket, you can sneak by wearing your best pants, a dress shirt and a nice tie. A tuxedo is a bit too formal, as some of the wedding will be outdoors and during daylight hours, but a black or navy suit would be fine. For dresses, a glamorous cocktail dress or a full-length sheath would both be appropriate; a pantsuit or a jumpsuit in a dressy fabric would also be fine. A ballgown is too much and a sundress is a bit too casual. A note on shoes: Dress shoes are appropriate and most of the wedding and reception will take place on paved surfaces or indoors, but the venue is on park grounds and there will be grass. This may not be the venue for your tallest stilettos, and if wearing a narrow heel, consider a pair of the plastic sink-stoppers for the heel of your shoes. In terms of weather, temperatures are typically in the high 60's to low 70's, dropping to the 50's at night- you may want a wrap for evening, but there will be heaters on the patio.
