Maid of Honor

Best friends since pre-school at Hunter Mill Country Day School in Vienna, VA where we met. We bonded over a love for the Lion King, Beanie Babies, and playing outside. Our interests have shifted, but our friendship has stayed as strong as ever even as we both lived far away from each other. We can talk about just about anything, know way too many ridiculous things about each other, and definitely feels like my sister.

One of my first friends at Worcester State University! We were both in healthcare fields and commiserating over late nights studying, but also pumping each other up going to the fitness center together. Distance has not dampened our friendship and can pick up right where we left off!

Taryn "The Explorer" Close

For the longest time, and I think still to this day, she is in my phone as Taryn from yoga, because when I was fresh to Greenville, SC this is how I met her. We were doing blissfully free, outside yoga and naturally followed by food truck tacos. As it would have it, our mats were next to each and we found ourselves standing in line together, struck up a conversation and flash forward 5 years later we still enjoy some yoga together, but now it's over Zoom!

Basically my work wife / OT bestie and don't know what I'd do without her to help keep me sane during the tough days! So sweet, but I love seeing her "spicy" sass when you get heated about something. We've become a strong double date couple with our same named partners of Drew and living only a few miles apart. One of the people that has made Lexington, KY feel like our new home!

Co-workers at the same pediatric clinic, a peds PT, we became friends pretty quickly. Love chatting peds therapy, braving the elements camping (okay, I really only do camping for the s'mores), and tossing around some discs. She's part of our amazing friend friend trio of Lexington, and we wouldn't have it any other way!
