Welcome to all things wedding!

The year was 2018, Ellen had moved to Greenville, SC to start her big-girl OT job and Drew was finishing his 100th and last year of college. Disappointed in the human race, and about to swear off dating apps and commit to a life of loneliness, when the right pick up line at the right time and place convinced them both otherwise. Fast forward one month later to February 18th, 2018, a tall, handsome, blonde on a red, two-wheeled death machine (aka motorcycle) picks her up to go to her first basketball game. He learned most of what he needed to know in the next 30 minutes: she will be 5 -10 minutes (ok, it’s probably 15 minutes), coffee in the morning is a non-negotiable, and know very little about organized sports. Five months later her family is planning to move to South Carolina, and he was packing up his things to start his career in Danville, Kentucky. One year of several 6 hour drives, countess FaceTime dates, and too many hours to count talking on the phone, she decides to give ‘horse country’ a try for herself. Little did they know, with COVID right around the corner, how much time they would be spending together in their 2 bedroom apartment (every hour of every day for the next year). But, something good did come out of the pandemic in 2020, a shiny, diamond ring on Christmas Eve, and a promise of happily-ever-after!
