Where to Stay

We do not have a hotel block and there is no "official hotel" where we are staying (we are staying in Barb and Paul's basement :)). Traveling guests may prefer to stay near the venue (in or near downtown Minneapolis) or near us in Sunfish Lake, a suburb of Saint Paul. There are many hotels located just a few blocks east/southeast of the venue. Loews Minneapolis Hotel is about a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive from the venue, and most major hotel brands have properties within the same area. Not only are these hotels located near our venue but they are also near many great bars and restaurants as well as the beautiful Mississippi River parkway. A little less close to the venue, but a little closer to the Mississippi River are the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel at the Depot and the Hewing Hotel. If you would prefer to stay near us, the new and luxurious Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is located just off 494 in Eagan. It is adjacent to the Minnesota Vikings practice facility (and you might be able to watch them practice since they'll be in training camp by July 23!). Other (less luxurious) hotels near us are the Coratel Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn Express, AmericInn, and MIcrotel, all in Inver Grove Heights.
