Walker Art Center
In addition to the Walker's magnificent sculpture garden and galleries, they also have an artist-designed mini golf course on their rooftop in the summer. It's not to be missed, and very challenging!

This is the family-run business of our high school friend, Nick. It's a fantastic Ukrainian deli with excellent sausages in a cool neighborhood.

Open daily, 6a-1p (and largest on the weekends), this farmer's market is great, and right around the corner from our party venue.

Graze | Provisions + Libations
Union Hmong Kitchen, a very delicious pop-up, is based here this summer (https://unionkitchenmn.com/) - check out their chef, Yia Vang, on Iron Chef on June 15!). Graze is a super locally focused food collective based in the North Loop, a very cool neighborhood.
Bde Maka Ska
Really, this is a recommendation to go to any of the city lakes in Minneapolis (Bde Mka Ska, Lake Calhoun, Lake of the Isles, Lake Harriet), which are all connected via paved trails and are a site for much of the Twin Cities' summer recreation! Beaches for swimming, sailing, paddleboating, rollerblading, cycling, concerts, you have it all.
