Things To Do around Seven Ponds
Kaaterskill Falls: Hike
Easy 1.69 mi RT hike. This is one of the most popular hikes in the area, and the highest cascading waterfall in New York State. Location: 1 Hour south of the venue (5-minute detour) on the way up from NYC/EWR.
West Kill Brewing

Follow the Craft to the northern foothills of the Catskills where you'll discover and savor the homegrown flavors of KyMar Farm Winery and Distillery. Born from the historic soils of Schoharie County, Kymar takes great pride in bringing local agricultural products from the field to the glass. Partnering with local growers, they hand-select only the best components for our wine and spirits. Kymar is open to the public from Memorial Day weekend until Columbus Day Friday through Sunday from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 PM for tastings, tours and our gift shop.

Overlook Mountain Trailhead: Hike
Moderate 4.8 mile RT hike, only 7 minutes from Woodstock!
Wittenberg Mountain: Hike
Difficult 7.1 - 8.5 mile out and back hike. Some of the best views in the Catskills. The trail begins at Woodland Valley Campground near Phoenicia with a wonderful stream for cooling off at the end of the day.

Brewery Ommegang
THU 12:00PM - 4:00PM FRI 12:00PM - 4:00PM SAT 12:00PM - 4:00PM SUN 11:00AM - 3:00PM 20- to 30-minute tours cost $5 per person and offer a historic overview of Brewery Ommegang with a stroll through the brewhouse, lagering cellar and packaging hall. Visitors age five and up are welcome on the tour. Tours do require closed-toe shoes and covered shoulders. Follow your tour with a guided tasting – sample up to six different Ommegang beers served by a knowledgeable guide. $10 per person. After a tour and tasting, have a bite to eat in the café, the bar, or on the patio. Paired with any of our 20 beers on tap and more in bottles and cans, it’s an experience to savor.
