Dress Code: Come As You Are, Celebrate With Style More than anything, we want you to feel like you at our wedding—comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate. This day is about joy, connection, and love, and your presence means the world to us. That said, we are planning a formal to semi-formal celebration, and we’d love for you to dress up with us! Think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or suits and sport coats. It’s not about perfection—it’s about honoring the moment and celebrating in style. I (Elle) do love a coordinated moment. I can't help it! It's what I do. We highly encourage wearing shades of pink, peach, yellows, and baby blues. As far as a theme - It's the best day ever!
Absolutely! In fact, we expect lots of kids- So we plan to have a large ball pit and play area for them as a part of our brunch set up! Please bring them! We understand that some folks may only join us for brunch, and pass on sailing- Or keep their patience of saints and bring them aboard. Note that if we have enough interest to justify keeping a sitter onsite, in a banquet room at the hotel while parents sail- we will! Please let us know if that is something that would help you.
Essentially, Yes. We are still deciding between shuttling, Ubering, or suggesting folks self transport from the Woodmark, to Seattle Waterfront for sailing. If you are staying at the oodmark or one of our Bellevue hotels, you may have time to run to your hotel, then meet us on the waterfront. Our best suggestion would be to bring flat shoes, light jacket, sunglasses to the Woodmark so you can comfortably head to the boat. We will have welcome totes for you to carry your items, and a space to hold them at the Woodmark.
