Rick and Heather are Taylor’s parents, and are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. Their love, care and guidance have shaped Taylor into the person he is today. Elizabeth and Taylor appreciate everything they do for them, and are excited to have them as a part of their wedding day.

Sarah and Elizabeth have been best friends since sophomore year. How did that friendship come about? They couldn't tell you, but since then, they've been inseparable. Sarah currently lives in Lincolnton, NC, with her daughter, Raya.

Andy and Taylor met as Power Engineering students at NAIT. After sharing a summer student term at NAIT together, the two were inseparable in the rest of their studies and get together as often as possible. Andy lives in Battleford, SK, with his wife, Raegan.
Amanda Francis

Amanda and Elizabeth both went to East Lincoln together, but it wasn't until after Elizabeth moved back from Utah that they quickly reconnected and became fast friends. Amanda currently resides in the cutest little farmhouse in Iron Station, NC.
Jared Melnickel

Jared and Taylor have been friends since Junior High, roommates, camping partners, you name it, they’ve done it. Jared lives outside of Millet, AB, with his wife Seanna and children Macie and Ryker.
Brittany Spong

Brittany and Elizabeth became friends after Elizabeth moved to Lincoln County in the 8th grade and that friendship was able to continue even after Elizabeth's four year stint in Utah. Brittany and her husband, Taylor, live in their beautiful new house in Huntersville, NC, with their two darling baby boys.
Ryan Raugust

Ryan and Taylor grew up playing hockey together and have remained close to this day. Like the Maple Leafs, they typically play more golf than hockey these days but still get on the ice together occasionally. Ryan lives in Ponoka, AB, with his wife, Nicole, and cat Pepe.
Kimberly Smith

Kim and Elizabeth quickly bonded during Alpha Phi's Recruitment Prep Week while they were attending the University of Utah. They quickly bonded not just as sorority sisters, but over their horse obsession, idiotic frat boys, and the Batman movies. Kim is a badass in the Air Force and currently resides in Salt Lake City, UT, with her three furbabies.
Cody Worthing

Cody and Taylor met through their work with Imperial, working together in the control room for Kearl. As if sitting ten feet from each other for two weeks straight wasn’t enough, they often meet up for board game nights and visits as well on their days off. Cody lives in Calgary with his partner Melissa and their two daughters, Zoey and Quinn.

Kendra is one of Elizabeth's newest friends, as after only 2 months of being reintroduced, it became apparent that this would become a beautiful friendship. Kendra currently resides in Myrtle Beach, SC, with her sweet pups.
Jeff Boyd

Taylor and Jeff met back in 2016, when Sydney brought him home to meet the family for the first time. Their friendship has grown over the years, sharing books and board game recommendations with each other. Jeff lives in Vancouver, BC with his spouse Sydney, and their two cats Ganon and Kubo.
Emma Holmes

Emma, or M&M, is the youngest of the Holmes clan and Elizabeth’s sister. Emma lived in Bosnia for a year before attending UNC, much to the dismay of the rest of her siblings (Go Duke!) She recently moved to Boston, MA, where she's learning to enjoy clam chowder and how to drop her R's.
Cody Lever

Another Cody, this one met Taylor back in high school and has been around for most of the shenanigans involving Jared as well. Cody and Taylor have hunted together, worked cattle together, and enjoy camping / outdoors together. Cody lives outside of Millet, AB, with his wife Jessica, and their children John and Chevelle.
Sydney Schnell

Sydney is Taylor's older sister. Elizabeth quickly bonded with Sydney after Syd singlehandedly kickstarted Elizabeth's obsession with romantasy, much to Taylor's dismay (or joy?). Sydney currently resides in Vancouver, BC, with her spouse, Jeff, and their two cats.
Thomas Holmes

Thomas is Elizabeth’s youngest brother. An avid traveler, reader, snowboarder, and Lord of the Rings enthusiast, Thomas and Taylor quickly became friends once they met. Thomas currently lives in Vienna, Austria where he is completing his Masters.
Tia Holmes

Tia is the newest addition to the Holmes family after she succumbed to James' charm and became Elizabeth's sister-in-law last year. Elizabeth has been thrilled to have another sister in the family. Tia currently resides in Draper, UT, with her husband James.

James is Elizabeth’s oldest little brother, who Taylor insisted was an elaborate hoax and didn’t exist for the first year and a half of their relationship before they were finally able to meet in person. James lives in Draper, UT, with his wife, Tia.
Raya Mahaffey

Raya is Sarah's daughter and Elizabeth's surrogate niece. Having watched Raya grow from the time she was born to teaching her all things Canada and hockey, Elizabeth and Taylor couldn't imagine not having Raya be a part of their day.
