Taylor and Elizabeth met at the reception of her cousin Aspen's wedding. Being about the only two single people at the event, it seemed like a concerted effort by everyone present to set the two up together. They didn't know it that evening, but this would be the start of a beautiful relationship. Their first dates included riding together in the combine during harvest, sushi dates, Ponoka stampede and a dinner and comedy show in Edmonton before the two decided to make things official. Shortly after that, Elizabeth whisked Taylor away to North Carolina to meet her parents and see the area she grew up in. Their shared love of the outdoors, board games and animals have kept them busy at every turn - whether it be camping and kayak trips, board game nights with friends, or spending time at the farm, there has never been a dull moment since meeting each other, and neither one could think of anybody else they'd rather have at their side through it all. Taylor eventually proposed in April 2024 at the base of a waterfall near Abraham Lake, Alberta while they were camping together and Elizabeth enthusiastically agreed to marry him. They can't wait to enter into this next chapter of their lives together, and can't wait to see what the future holds for them.
