Will children be invited?

Answer

Due to the size of our venue and the number of adults we plan to invite, we are only accounting for the children of immediate family. We will not be censoring music and there will be an open bar, so we do not feel this will be a child-friendly environment. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Do I need to attend both ceremonies?

Answer

We understand that having two ceremonies is outside the norm, so your presence would be appreciated at whichever ceremony works best for you!

Which airport should i fly into?

Answer

DTW is the closest major airport to Shelby Township. The reception venue and hotels listed on our website are a 55 minute drive from the airport.

How will I get around throughout the weekend?

Answer

We understand that a destination wedding can be challenging for guests. We deeply appreciate your presence and can't wait to celebrate with you! Here are some transportation options for the weekend: - From the airport to your hotel: Ubers/Lyfts, taxis, and car rental options are in abundance at the airport. - From the hotel to exploring the area and/or attending the welcome part on Friday: If you are not renting a car, an Uber/Lyft will be your best option here. We encourage guests to travel in groups when possible to minimize costs. - From the hotel to the church ceremony and/or reception and back: we will be arranging reserved Uber rides for guests from the Cambria Hotel to these locations. We will also reserve Uber shuttles to return guests to the hotel at the end of the night. Details will be posted here in the coming weeks!
