Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE)

American, Alaska Air, United, and Delta all fly into ASE. This is by far the most convenient option and likely the most expensive. The airport is 3 miles and a short bus ride from the town of Aspen. Most hotels offer free shuttles from the airport, so check with your hotel!

Denver International Airport (DIA)

DIA is about a 4 hour drive or shuttle to Aspen; however, it is a very scenic drive. I-70 notoriously has traffic in any season, so we recommend leaving a cushion. There are plenty of rental car and shuttle options from the airport.

Getting to Aspen: By Car

Driving from Denver: Aspen is about a 3.5 hour drive from downtown Denver, without traffic. Driving Directions: From Denver: Take I-70 W to Exit 116, CO-82 E into Aspen, about 40 miles. It should be a gorgeous drive through the Rocky Mountains in July! Feeling adventurous? Take the alternative route through Leadville and drive over Independence Pass.

Getting Around Aspen

At this time, we will NOT be providing a shuttle for weekend events (this may change). Aspen is particularly walkable and also has a great public transportation system (RFTA). RFTA is free within the towns of Aspen and Snowmass. Buses are no more than 15 minutes apart beginning at 6:30 AM-12 AM. There are very few Uber drivers in the Aspen area and the wait times can be long.

Condominium style hotel offering 2-3 bedroom options with a 3 night minimum. Perfect for groups traveling together, the larger condos end up being far less expensive when shared. The Gant is a 4 minute walk to the Gondola Plaza, but runs a courtesy shuttle for guests until 11 PM.
