When should I make my travel arrangements?

Answer

ASAP! We cannot stress enough that July is a very popular time in Aspen. We HIGHLY recommend you book accommodations as soon as you know you are able to join us to ensure the best rates. Airfare watchdog is a good website to set alerts and keep an eye on prices as you make your flight arrangements. Please see our travel page for all recommendations and airport details.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

As of right now, we have the entire hotel blocked at the Annabelle Inn and small blocks at both the Little Nell and Aspen Meadows Resort. The Gant offers 25% off rates with our discount code; however, rooms are not being held. We are doing our best to provide affordable options for accommodations. We recommend booking in groups wherever possible. As we continue to gather more information, we will update the website.

Are kids invited to the wedding and reception?

Answer

We love your kids, but thought it would be fun for you all to have a night out. Kids are welcome at any of the other events, except the ceremony and reception (21+).

What is Aspen's elevation?

Answer

Aspen is nearly 8,000 feet above sea level. The wedding ceremony and reception will take place on the top of Aspen Mountain at nearly 11,000 feet. As such, we encourage everyone to ease into celebratory activities and drink LOTS of water. Allow your body time to acclimate.

What will the weather be like in July?

Answer

July is a beautiful time to be in Aspen; however, the weather is always unpredictable in the mountains. Expect warm days, afternoon showers, and cool nights. Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outside. The cocktail hour and reception will both be held indoors. The venue will provide blankets in case of cooler temperatures for the gondola download.
