Meet us at Munger Mountain Trailhead for a mountain bike ride on one of our favorite trails. If mountain biking isn't for you, this trailhead offers options for hiking as well. So pack your day pack, grab your bear spray, and meet us for hang out time at the trailhead! New to mountain biking? We recommend renting a bike/helmet from Hoback Sports if needed. This trail is relatively beginner-friendly (which is admittedly a loose term in the Tetons...) and we will be there to help out where needed! Elbow/knee pads, gloves, flat bottom shoes, and sunglasses are all great things to bring.

Phelps Lake Hike and Jump Rock

Join us at the LSR Preserve (where Elizabeth worked as a Ranger) to hike to Phelps Lake. This 3 miles round trip hike to the lake is easy-moderate with some uneven terrain and 200 feet of elevation gain. If you want to continue a little further, join us with your swim suit to jump rock, a rock on the side of the lake where it is deep enough to jump off (if you have the courage)
Trivia

We will break into teams of 6 and play trivia at our favorite microbrewery in town. Parking is limited, overflow parking can be found at the high school track field one block away from the Taproom. Choose your adventure(s): Meet us at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, starting at 3:00pm we will be meeting up to ride the tram to the top of Rendevous Mountain (where the famous waffles are) and then ride the Bridger Gondola to grab a drink at the top. Afterward join for Disc Golf Doubles starting at 6:00pm. Gondola costs: $55 for all access ticket for Tram and Gondola Disc Golf Doubles: $6

Star Gazing

Wyoming Stargazing offers weekly, free, year-round, public stargazing events on CLEAR Thursdays beginning approx. one hour after sunset at the Rendezvous Park in Jackson Hole Wyoming (when the temperature is above zero degrees Fahrenheit!). There is $10/person recommended donation. Donate Online. Join Wyoming Stargazing at R-Park, the Jackson Hole Land Trust’s flagship community open space, for our free public stargazing programs. We’ll be set up on the far side of the hill at the end of the driveway. Please park in the main parking area and walk to the far side of the hill following our Public Stargazing signs. Our astronomy educators will use one of our large aperture telescopes to show you planets, stars, planetary nebulae, galaxies, and more! We will also have several iPads with the Star Walk application installed on them so you can explore the heavens while others are looking through the telescopes.

Jenny Lake Hike to Hidden Falls

Hiking Attire
Join us at the Jenny Lake Boat Dock at 8:00am to hop on the boat shuttle (fee for boat). We will go across the lake and hike up to Hidden Falls which is a 1 mile hike with an optional hike up to Inspiration Point and into Cascade Canyon. When you finish hiking take the shuttle boat back across the lake. For adventurers, there is also a free option to hike around the lake instead of taking the boat shuttle. Want to hike even more? Take the boat shuttle across Jenny Lake and hike Cascade Canyon to Lake Solitude. This is a challenging hike at a constant uphill on the way there and downhill on the way back and is about 16 miles round trip. This is a great option for those looking for an all day activity and a chance to get deep into Grand Teton National Park.

There is plenty of grass to get comfy on or bring a towel to flow on. 5:00pm - Kevin and Kari Gerrits (Elizabeth's parents) will get the BBQ going! Join in for some friendly yet, slightly competitive sand volleyball and fun for the whole family! Food and drink provided. Note: sand in the volleyball court can be hot, socks are recommended
