After striking up a conversation on a dating app (not the frat party as was once the story), Giorgio and Lieza went back and forth trying to find a time for a first date, with her in summer class at Northeastern and him on co-op at Bose. Planning came down to the wire - just one evening remained before Lieza left Boston for the summer - but the two finally scheduled a date at Tangierino, a lounge in Charlestown, MA. Waiting on the front stoop of 614 Columbus Ave, Lieza pretended to not hear Giorgio as he opened the front door and walked down the steps. As she eventually turned around following a tap on the shoulder, Giorgio swooned and knew this date had to be a success. Fortunately, this came effortlessly as the two talked for hours and hours before parting ways, uncertain but simultaneously certain that their connection would survive the summer. After two long months apart, and a failed date in NYC, the two gave it another chance back in Boston upon returning for school and the rest was history.
