We always recommend Newark Airport to our friends and family, since it is the closest and most convenient airport to both Staten Island and Jersey City. LaGuardia may have cheaper flights, but in our opinion, is not worth the hassle.

Travel Note

Tolls

You will have to pay bridge tolls if you drive between New York and New Jersey. You can do this by using an E-ZPass. If you do not have E-ZPass, they will capture your license plate and bill you accordingly. Most toll booths do not accept cash payments anymore, due to COVID.
