We always recommend flying into Newark! LaGuardia is usually cheaper, but it is also usually much more of a hassle. The Newark airport is about a 20-30 minute car ride away from the hotels in Jersey City.

On a good day (aka a day with no traffic) it should take under 30 minutes! As it is the NY metro area, we suggest leaving an hour door-to-door.
We suggest calling an Uber or Lyft and sharing the ride with several other people, to minimize the cost! Or, you can of course drive your own car since the church does have a large (free) parking lot. But be prepared to pay tolls when you cross the bridge to NY, if you choose to drive yourself.
The ceremony will be approximately 40 minutes long. Travel time to Hudson House from the church is approximately 30 minutes. Hudson House does have a separate restaurant and bar where you may grab a drink ahead of the reception, if you wish to arrive early.
As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you’re able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on our wedding day!
We kindly ask all guests to keep their cell phones away, leaving the photography to the professionals!
Yes! #StoddartSomethingNew - we would love for you to tag any photos you take at the reception so we can find them all in one place under our hashtag!
In Jersey City, we recommend the NJ Path and the Jersey City Water Taxi (linked on the 'things to do' page). https://www.panynj.gov/path/en/index.html If in NYC, the best way to figure out how to get where you want to go is by downloading the MTA Trip Planner app! You can plug in your current location and your destination and it will tell you what subways you need to take to get there. You can also, of course, use Uber or take a taxi, but those will be the most expensive options. Even if you decide to drive your own car or rent one from the airport, we still recommend taking public transportation or an Uber/taxi if venturing into Manhattan. Parking is not only difficult, but expensive, (NYC drivers are also crazy) and you don't need that stress!
