Long Beach Catalina Express

The Long Beach Catalina Express is the closest and fastest option from Los Angeles or LAX, while offering the most departure times. The ferry ride to the island is a little over an hour. Ferry times for September will be released in early July and we will send a text reminder when they are released! The schedule will likely be similar to the current posted schedule through September 1st if you'd like to use that to plan your travel to California. However, it's possible there will be fewer departure times, especially in the afternoon. Also, if you'd like, you may book the ferry through Hotel Atwater and they will work with you to book your ferry tickets as soon as they are available!

Newport Beach Catalina Flyer

For those local to Newport Beach or flying into John Wayne, the Catalina Flyer is the best ferry option to get to the island. Be sure to book your ferry tickets as soon as possible, as the ferry does get fully booked. They also have a bar on board, so feel free to get the party started on the way!
