The Croft Hotel is a lovely local hotel that is budget friendly and close to my family home (24min walk/3min drive).
Rockcliffe Hall is a beautiful hotel in the same village as my family home (21min walk/4min drive). Although it is the slightly more expensive of the 2 hotels, it boasts wonderful amenities.
There are a few local AirBNBs. A great option for those travelling in a group.
-In The Lake District-
The Black Swan, Ravenstonedale is undoubtedly a personal favourite. Please call to book and reference GOODMAN.
The Black Bull Hotel is another wonderful local hotel however they are not offering discounts.
There are also many lovely, local AirBNBs.
If you choose to stay at one of these hotel options or an AirBNB within a 5 mile radius of Augill Castle, we have arranged a coach service that will pick you up at 12PM and drop you at 12AM from your exact location. This service costs £20 per head. Please let me know if you're interested and I will add you to the list!
