What should I wear?

Answer

Camera ready!! As you all well know, I am the fashion police! Ladies: We kindly ask that you dress to impress! Preferably no dresses shorter than the knee. My bridesmaids will be wearing emerald green. Men:Please wear a tie or bow tie, and I will even allow a bolo tie if you can style it well. Strictly no jeans, cowboy boots or untucked shirts.

How do I make a reservation for The Black Swan Hotel?

Tel.: +44 (0)15396 23204 Email: enquiries@blackswanhotel.com Please call the booking team before Feb 1st 2024 and reference "Goodman Wedding" to reserve one of the bedrooms that has been held. If you're calling from an American number that will incur fees, email them instead. A 50% deposit will be required at the time of booking. You can stay for just one night at a reduced fee of £170 which includes breakfast. If you're only planning to stay one night, you must inform the Hotel of this. If you are staying two nights, the Hotel kindly asks that you dine in their (delicious) restaurant on the night that you wont be at our wedding. This Hotel is by far my personal favourite and the food is delicious. Just to reiterate, staying at this hotel will mean you are eligible for coach pick up and drop off to the wedding on Saturday, July 27th.

As an American, do I need a travel visa to enter England?

Answer

No, as long as you are staying less than 6 months and you hold a valid passport, you will be fine.

Where else do you recommend seeing in Europe during our travels?

Answer

London. Edinburgh. Barcelona. Amsterdam. The Amalfi Coast. South of France. These are a few of my favourite places to visit and I would be happy to help if you have any questions or need advise. Please remember the Olympics is being hosted in Paris this summer and so prices may be higher in surrounding areas and more tourists will be around.
