OPTION 1 (Eco Mode): Shuttle to Anacortes
We recommend the shuttle service: "Bellair Charters" if you do not want to rent a car from SeaTac Airport! Getting off at the "Anacortes Shell" Stop would put you walking distance to hotel options in Anacortes. Also, you could probably ask your bus driver to stop at your specific hotel if it is on the same street (Commercial Ave).

OPTION 2 (Independence Mode): Rent a Car from SeaTac International Airport
For those who may want a bit more independence, or wish to explore Seattle (or other areas of WA), renting a car will be your best bet. We encourage our guests to explore carpooling with other guests attending!
Flight
Option 3: (Adventure Mode): Kenmore Air
This a less budget friendly, more "adventurous" opportunity, but you could take a flight directly into Friday Harbor for the Welcome Event on Friday, October 10th. You could then ride the Ferry back to Anacortes that night, attend the wedding on October 11th, and book a Bellair Shuttle back to Seatac Airport on Sunday. This would be aggressive, but a very special opportunity to see the Puget Sound islands from the air!

Sunrise Inn Villas and Suites
This inn is located across the street from our reception hall (Buxton's), so it's in a great location! This will be one of our shuttles stops to take guests to Deception Pass State Park. HOW TO BOOK: You can choose your room online (https://www.sunriseinnanacortes.com/). If you want the group discount, then make sure you book through the hotel website and not third party. Then, after booking, you can call the front desk (360-293-8833) and say you're with the Heath wedding to get a 10% discount applied to your booking. (Alternatively, if you don't care which room you get, you're welcome to just call and book through the front desk.)

Anacortes Inn
Anacortes Inn is 0.6 miles away from our reception hall. Our wedding shuttle bus will make a stop at this hotel to pick up guests and drive them to the ceremony in Deception Pass State Park. HOW TO BOOK: To reserve with our group discount, please call the front desk (360-755-7790) and give them the group code (Heath2025). This code will work for any nights from Thursday, October 9 - Sunday, October 12. Please reach out to us if you have issues booking. The hotel told us that they are having technical difficulties with their website, so booking over the phone would be better. If our group block is full, it looks like the regular nightly rate is very similar to our group rate.

Marina Inn
We weren't able to visit this hotel, but it is highly rated on google, and offers more basic accommodations than Majestic Inn or Anacortes Inn, at a lower price. The wedding shuttle will stop at Anacortes Inn, which is a 4 minute walk away, so you can easily stay at Marina Inn and just walk over to the pick-up spot! HOW TO BOOK: To reserve with our group discount, please call the front desk at (360) 293-1100, and give them our wedding group code (HEATH).

Nantucket Inn Anacortes
We do not have a group block or discount here, but this Inn is close to the Anacortes Inn shuttle stop and the reception venue, and it looks cozy and nice! They are not a large hotel, and they have limited rooms. HOW TO BOOK: Visit their website and book on your own (no discount code available unfortunately).

Airbnb
There are many nice airbnb and VRBO options in Anacortes, WA. If you want to skip the hotels, we recommend getting a group together to look for spots along Commercial Avenue in downtown Anacortes, Washington, bonus points if the spot is walking distance from Majestic Inn and Spa or Anacortes Inn. This will make it easy for you to walk to our shuttle bus pick-up spots at these locations and get a ride to the ceremony at Deception Pass State Park. If you want to stay elsewhere on Fidalgo Island (the island where the town of Anacortes sits), that is totally fine! Just be aware that you will need to transport yourself to the shuttle pick-up locations on wedding day, and you'll need to get yourself home after the reception.

This hotel has been totally booked up Thursday-Friday but there is still Saturday availability. There should be a block of rooms under HEATH if you call to book. You can also book online.
