Colton and Elisabeth will be having dinner Thursday evening with our families. We will head over to Brown Lantern after dinner for drinks. We will probably arrive sometime between 7:30 - 8:00 pm. If you're in Anacortes on Thursday evening, meet us at Brown Lantern sometime between 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm to say hello! Please note that this is not a catered event.

Friday "Island Day" - Ride the Ferry!

The ferry ride to the town of Friday Harbor on San Juan Island is beautiful! If you'd like to bring a car, you need to make advanced reservations. We encourage guests to park cars at the Ferry Terminal and purchase "Walk-On Tickets", which do not require advanced reservations. Ferries leave at: 8:40 AM (dock in Friday Harbor at 9:50 AM) 10:30 AM (dock in Friday Harbor at 11:30 AM) 1:35 PM (dock in Friday Harbor at 2:45 PM) Elisabeth and Colton will be riding the 8:40 AM ferry. We recommend taking this ferry if you want to have plenty of time on the island to explore. You're also welcome to ride a later ferry! The ferry ride is about 1 hour each way. You should park your car 30-40 minutes before your departure time, so you have time to walk to the terminal, buy your walk-on ticket, and board. You rode the ferry! Welcome to San Juan Island. The town of Friday Harbor is very walkable, and you can find bars, restaurants, window shopping, museums, parks, moped rentals, bicycle rentals, kayak rentals, kayak tours, a brewery, and whale watching excursions - all within walking distance of the Ferry Terminal. See more details under "Things To Do". If you want to leave and explore the island see below. Getting around the island: Elisabeth made a mistake - none of the shuttles run in October. But you can rent a bike or a moped in Friday Harbor! There is also a taxi service: https://ecotaxicab.com/. Sorry for the mix-up! You explored all day! Now join us at Brickworks in downtown Friday Harbor at around 4 pm for our welcome event & casual dinner! Snacks, dinner and drinks (beer/wine) will be provided. 4:00 PM: Show up, grab a drink, say hi, play games 5:00 PM: Lasagna and salad 5:30 PM: A few speeches from family 6:00 PM until close: Hang out and have fun! Ferry schedule back to Anacortes. Departure times: 6:20 PM (arrive back in Anacortes at 7:50 PM) 7:35 PM (arrive back in Anacortes at 9:05 PM) 10:05 PM (arrive back in Anacortes at 11:15 PM) (Last ferry of the night! Don't miss this one!) Colton and Elisabeth will take the 10 PM ferry back to Anacortes. You are welcome to leave on an earlier ferry or stay till 10 with us. It is about a 5 minute walk from the dinner venue (Brickworks) back to the ferry terminal. You should arrive about 15 minutes before ferry departure.

BUS SCHEDULE: 1:20 PM Arrive at Majestic Inn and Spa (pick up guests) 1:25 PM Leave Majestic Inn and Spa 1:30 PM Stop at Buxtons (1904 Commercial Ave, Anacortes, WA 98221) (pick up guests who are staying at Sunrise Inn) 1:35 PM Leave Buxtons Art Center 1:40 PM Stop at Anacortes Inn (pick up guests) 1:45 PM Leave Anacortes Inn 2:05 PM Stop at East Cranberry Lake Picnic Area to drop off guests - Stay at Picnic Area until end of cocktail hour 4:45 PM Take all guests back to Buxtons Art Center in Anacortes for Dinner & Reception

Semi-formal or cocktail attire. Please expect uneven grassy terrain (and potentially mud) when choosing shoes. Comfy shoes encouraged!
We will have a bus shuttle from two hotels in Anacortes to Deception Pass State Park. There is very limited parking at Deception Pass State Park, so we encourage guests to use the bus shuttle rather than driving. Buses will also transport guests back to Anacortes for the Reception.

The buses will shuttle guests from Deception Pass State Park to the Art Center at Buxton's for the wedding reception. The reception will include dinner, drinks, and lots of music and dancing! If you're planning to drive yourself to Buxton's, there are multiple places where you can park your car and leave it until the end of the night (or even leave it overnight). We will mark those parking locations on the wedding weekend map.
