San Salvador International Airport

El Salvador has one international airport about 45 minutes outside the capital city of San Salvador : El Salvador International Airport Saint Oscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez (Airport Code: SAL). From the US, there are direct flights to SAL from: Houston, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta, New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

We don't recommend taking taxis or Ubers from the airport but rather arranging private transportation.
