We're so excited to share some of our favorite places in El Salvador!
Surf City

Surf City

La Libertad, El Salvador

El Salvador is famous for its surfing. Check out the different beaches at La Libertad, book a surf class, or enjoy the view, the food, and the pool from a nice hotel. We recommend: - Puro Surf: www.purosurf.com - Palo Verde: www.paloverdehotel.com - Casa de mar: www.casademarhotel.com

Lago de Coatepeque

Lago de Coatepeque

Santa Ana, El Salvador

Those joining Friday will go here for a day trip. But if you want more time to enjoy this gem, there are beautiful Airbnbs at the lake. If you want to book transportation to and from the lake we recommend arranging with Benjamin (see travel section). Please be advised that if you want to have groceries for your stay outside of San Salvador, we recommend buying them in San Salvador before your trip.

Hike the Santa Ana volcano

Hike the Santa Ana volcano

Santa Ana, El Salvador

There are daily organized hikes up this active volcano about 1.5 hours away from the city. It's a great hike and you get to enjoy spectacular views! Trip Advisor has a tour planned (volcano hike + lunch at Lago de Coatepeque) and it's linked here. But if you are interested in doing just the hike, you can coordinate with Benjamin to drive you to the starting point of the hike (entrance is about $5). You can contact Benjamin via whatsapp (+503 7308-2280)
