There is a 30% discount on lodging if you're staying between Monday - Thursday. Call (802) 483-2311 — don't book online — and identify yourself as guests of the Reynolds/Skovgaard wedding when booking. There are three options for lodging: houses or the lodge (multiple bedroom configurations available) or cabins (all 1 bedroom). We have a discounted room rate at the nearby Best Western, which is approximately a 15-minute drive from our wedding site. Call (802) 773-3200 — don't book online — and identify yourself as guests of the Reynolds/Skovgaard wedding when booking. There are two types of rooms: a standard room (1-2 beds, mini bar, etc. for $109 per night) and a suite (lots of space and a full kitchen for $149 per night). There is not a shuttle to Mountain Top, but there is plenty of parking at both locations. These discounts are also available 3 days prior and 2 days post for those wanting to make a longer trip out of the wedding.
Rental Car
Vermont does not have Uber or Lyft on every corner, so we recommend renting a car if you don't have one. If you're having trouble finding a way up here, let us know and we can try to help!
Train
An absolutely stunning option from NYC, through Albany, to nearby Rutland is the Ethan Allen Express Train! While the trip is longer than it would be for a car, the journey will be beautiful. We recommend you rent a car for when you arrive or arrange pick-up in advance.
Flight
The airport in Burlington, VT is definitely on the smaller side, but super cute (it has rocking chairs!). It also has quite a few car rental options for those flying in and at just 1.5 hours for travel, it's the closest airport to Mountain Top.
