We love visiting the beach and of the three we've recommended this is our most frequented!  It has a large, sandy beach area with a short walk from the parking lot.

Big Red & Holland State Park

Your best chance to climb the dunes of Lake Michigan from Holland! Access to the beach requires climbing nearly a hundred stairs - both ways!

Laketown Beach

Our final beach recommendation is where Shane proposed! *From the parking lot it is a 0.7 mile hike to the beach and dune grass vista!

Rosy Mound Natural Area

Emily eats here when she visits Shane at work down the street!

Bowerman's on 8th

Shane works here and Emily loves to visit to play board games of all kinds! The Zeeland location has a library of games that are free to play and Escape Rooms to book if you’re in the mood for puzzles!

Out of the Box

Grand Rapids Michigan is about a half hour away and has many attractions, including Frederick Meijer Garden and Sculpture Park, The John Ball Zoo, and many Museums!
