Mention our name at the Windmill Island booth to gain free admission during operating hours. This means you can arrive early to enjoy the Island amenities or explore more during the cocktail hour portion of the evening.
There is free parking at the venue, right on the island.
Cocktail dress. Remember, Michigan summers can be hot and humid. On the Island there is generally a breeze. Summery dresses or cool fabrics are recommended.

The ceremony and reception area is a short walk from the parking lot. If needed, the Island has wheelchairs available for use.
The ceremony is planned for outside by the gazebo, but if it rains it will be moved into the reception area under the tent.
There are large fans at the venue and there is generally a breeze, but the wedding is outdoors with no air conditioning. It is recommended that you wear sunscreen and wear light weight clothing as it is usually hot in late July.
There was a printing error on the large invites. That address directs you to city hall because Windmill Island is a public park. The address on the mini luggage tags is the correct address to get to the venue. Or, just enter Windmill Island into the GPS and it should bring you to the right location!
