Are my kids invited?
Answer
We love your kids, but we want to keep the wedding intimate and adult friendly, except for a small group of relatives. If you are not a relative, please plan to get a sitter for the weekend.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Dress to impress. You know the drill - this is not a camp social from 2002. Formal Attire, but colorful. Men - Look sharp but not black tie. Women - Colorful, formal dresses.

Whats on the packing list?

SPECIFIC PACKING LIST: Saturday: -Athleisure/ workout clothes, sneakers -Bathing suits (and a plastic bag to transport it home) -Dinner -bring summer dresses and button downs Sunday: -Casual summer clothes for day time -Wedding - Formal Attire, but colorful Men - Look sharp but not black tie Women - Colorful dresses Everything else: - Sweatshirt and sweater (It will get chilly at night) - Sweatpants - Pajamas - Shower shoes! (for those not familiar, flip flops are best) - Rain boots/ jacket (hoping no one will need this but check the weather beforehand!) - Blow dryer / straightener, curler - Bluetooth speaker for your bunk (optional, of course) - Phone charger - Reusable water bottle - Toiletry essentials ▫ Toothbrush/toothpaste ▫ Shampoo ▫ Conditioner ▫ Soap ▫ Moisturizer If you are staying at camp, linens and towels will be provided

Will you be providing transportation to/from the wedding?
Answer
We will be providing shuttles on the wedding day (August 31) from the two hotels to/from camp for the wedding and dinner. - Lockwood Hotel - Hampton Inn If you are planning to stay for the "afterparty", we suggest you stay at camp or rent a car. There will be no shuttles for this event.

What are some camp activities?
Answer
Boating on the lake, watersports (Yes, there is a blob and stand-up paddle boarding too!), climbing wall, basketball, tennis, pickleball, soccer, baseball, hockey, frisbee, volleyball, arts and crafts, archery, dodgeball, board games, swimming, fishing, ping pong, driving range. Equipment provided.

How does payment for lodging work?
Answer
As the reservation form shows, you have the option of staying at camp and joining us for one or more meals on Saturday, the day before the wedding. You can pick and choose what works best for you. Your reservation is confirmed when you pay, using Venmo or check, ahead of time. Please make checks payable to Edward Allen. Please make all payments by August 25th, 2025. If you have to cancel, we will, of course, refund any funds.

What's the Camp Allen coffee situation
Answer
There will be plenty of coffee on site, especially a coffee truck on Sunday. Don't worry, Mom:)
