Pop quiz: Where do two camp-loving love birds get married?

Maine! Beginning in 2014 Taylor spent 6 summers working at Camp Manitou. This is where her love for camp took off, her obsession with Maine was solidified, and her dream to get married at camp began. The year is 2020 and the world is on fire. We get a call from one of Taylor's CBFFs (Camp Best Friends Forever, shoutout to Adah) who had this wild and crazy idea that we should come up to Maine for the summer, work our full-time jobs while working at camp, and have the best summer reliving our time as campers. We assure you our bags were packed faster than you can make a s'more. It was during that summer that Eddy learned first hand the magic of Maine, and well, the rest is history. A camp wedding it is! Come be a camper with us at Camp Allen A.K.A Camp Manitou, 47 Camp Manitou Cove, Oakland, ME 04963

Our Story

Love at first swipe.

The year is 2018. Eddy had just moved to Austin, TX to work at his first ad agency after grad school. Only a few short months later, Taylor moved to Austin for her first job after college. (Shout out to Ivy!) During her first week in the city, Taylor decided to meet a cute NJB (Nice Jewish Boy). To JSwipe she goes. The first guy to pop up was a guy named Taylor, to which she obviously said no. Who was second to pop up on her app? Eddy. And with that right swipe, they matched, and have spent the last 7 years in uncontrollable laughter. From living together in Austin and truly making it THEIR city, to a longer than planned stint in Denver, to living in Jersey City, before finally landing in Yardley, PA, Taylor and Eddy have been waiting for this day to come for many years. While visiting Stockholm, Sweden for one of his best friend's wedding (shout out to Tom and Gabi) Eddy popped the question to Taylor. He didn't even manage to actually ask the fateful question before Taylor said yes. We have checked with our extensive legal representation, and yes, this is kosher. They look forward to seeing all of their friends and family in a place that is very near and dear to their hearts.
