Travel

Fitting to our lifestyle, we are having our wedding surrounded by the beauty of nature. Harriman State Park rests in a portion of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and is home to an abundance of elk, moose, sandhill cranes, trumpeter swans, and the occasional black or grizzly bear. Owned by Union Pacific Railroad investors from 1902 to 1977, the park acreage served as a cattle ranch and private retreat for the Harriman and Guggenheim families. Today, Harriman State Park provides visitors a perfect setting to enjoy the unique history and natural beauty of the area… or have a bangin’ wedding! PLEASE NOTE: the Jackson Hole airport will be CLOSED until June 28 for runway construction. THERE IS LITERALLY NO UBER/LYFT/TAXI IN THIS AREA. You will need a rental car or to car pool to/from the venue.

Flight

Idaho Falls Airport (IDA)

Idaho Falls airport is the closest to our venue with about a 1 hour 10 minute drive, and the best option since the Jackson Hole airport will be closed for renovation. Idaho Falls is also about an hour and a half from Victor, which is where we live, and 2 and a half hours from Jackson, if you plan to stay longer and visit the area.

Flight

Bozeman Yellowstone International (BZN)

If you'd like to check out the Northern Entrance to Yellowstone (hello Lamar Valley!) and the University of Montana, Bozeman is a great option. The airport is about 2 hours and 15 minutes from our venue.

Book early as things fill up very quickly!

Hotel

Lakeside Lodge and Resort

3857 Lakeside Lodge Lane
Island Park, ID 83429
 (208) 558-9770

Lakeside has a few lodging options and is about 20 minutes away from the venue. There are 1 bedroom cabins, 2 bedroom cabins, and 8 hotel rooms. Secluded RV spaces and Camping sites are also available here at Lakeside. Book early if you plan to stay here as things fill up very fast!

House Or Rental

Air BNB, Local Hotels

Air BNB or a local motel is an option if you don’t mind driving before or after the wedding. Island Park is the closet town and has many Airbnb and bed and breakfast options. West Yellowstone is also an option (about 40 min), a from the venue and it’s the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. BOOK EARLY! Places book up fast and can get pricy, so leave plenty of time to explore options.

Flight

Salt Lake City, Boise

If you really want to make a trip out of it, you can fly into Salt Lake City or Boise. They are both over 5 hours away and you’d need to rent a car and plan out time for a drive. I would only do this if you are staying before or after the wedding the explore the West.
