Question

What about COVID-19?

Answer

In order to make sure that our wedding is as safe as possible for ALL guests, we ask that guests are vaccinated for COVID-19. If you are not vaccinated, please wear a mask when attending and consider if it is worth the risk to attend at all. If you are unable to be vaccinated and have concerns, please reach out to us.

Question

Can we bring our dogs?!

Answer

Perhaps the most important question of all! While we LOVE your furry friends, pets are NOT allowed in the state park, so please leave them at home.

Question

What should we wear?

Answer

The vibe is "mountain-chic" so feel free to gussy up, but make sure you can still groove all night comfortably. We are getting married in a location with some paved paths, but most areas in the venue are unpaved. Skinny heels and strappy shoes are discouraged. Spring weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, with the days usually being quite a bit warmer than the evenings, so definitely bring a jacket or sweater.

Question

Where do we stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Island Park at least on Friday and Saturday night, since that is the closest option to the venue and will allow you to hang with everyone the whole weekend. After that, be free and explore this beautiful place! We live in Victor, ID, which is about an hour and a half away from the venue. Victor is about 30 min from Jackson Hole, WY. If you choose to hang around longer, Victor and Driggs are a great option for something a bit cheaper that will still allow you to explore Jackson.

Question

Can we UBER/LYFT to and from the park?

Answer

NOPE! This is the Wild West, there is no ride share service.

Question

Is there parking at the park?

Answer

There is ample parking at the state park, but it is $7 per vehicle, so it’s a good idea to car pool. It is cash only or you can also use park passes, if you have one. Details are on their website: https://parksandrecreation.idaho.gov/parks/harriman/

Question

Why can’t we fly into Jackson Hole?

Answer

Well, shoot. https://www.jacksonholeairport.com/capital-improvement-projects-2021-beyond/

Question

Important Notes

Answer

The elevation of Harriman State Park is 6.120 ft. and this area of the US is considered "high desert" Start hydrating before your visit, and stay on that game plan when you get here. Temps drop at night, so layers are important. Booze hits you faster at elevation, so while we all know what tanks you are, pace yourself ;)
