What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4pm on 10/21/23. Please aim to arrive 15-30 minutes early to ensure everyone is seated by the ceremony start time.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We request that you wear cocktail/semi-formal attire for the wedding and reception. The ceremony and cocktail hour are planned to be outside, barring any inclement weather, so please dress appropriately for the season!

What's the weather like?

Answer

In mid October the average high is 70°F and the average low is 50°F, and the humidity usually pretty low.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue, and there is plenty of free parking!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, please see the Travel tab for specific recommendations! We also advise at looking at short term rentals, such as Airbnb or VRBO, as many local hotels are being booked up due to the UNC vs UVA football game the same day.
