They had orbited the same circles for a couple years in high school, but a chance meeting the afternoon of the homecoming football game led to Caitlin staying for the afternoon to hang out with Dylan through the game. A couple weeks later they had their first date, and the rest is history!

The proposal happened during a trip out to Asheville to celebrate their 8th anniversary and see the stunning fall colors up on the Blue Ridge Parkway. While out admiring the view Dylan popped the question and, after an ecstatic yes, they spent the rest of the trip celebrating with good food and close friends!
