We recommend renting a car to reach Government Camp. This will give you the greatest flexibility to explore the area throughout the weekend. We have lots of ideas for activities to share! There are private shuttles and taxi cabs available to take you from PDX to Government Camp if you prefer to not rent a car. The average cost will be about $175-$200 for a one way trip. Note that some events we are planning will require you to carpool with other wedding guests if you don't have a car since there won't be Uber/taxi available. Lodging options!

There are a plethora of places you can stay in the area and beyond! If you are coming out for an extended trip (before Friday and after Sunday), we do recommend that you go find a great place to visit/stay outside of Government Camp before and after the wedding weekend. See the "Things to Do" tab for some ideas! Plan on making Government Camp your base for Friday-Sunday.

There are lots of options for private rentals in Government Camp and the surrounding area. From large 5+ bedroom cabins full of beds to cozy chalets for two tucked into the woods. We know there is surely something to suit you and your group. Have fun exploring all the places to stay using Airbnb or VRBO. Pro Tip: If you find a cool place on Airbnb/VRBO and notice that it is "hosted" by Vacasa, All Season Vacation Rentals, or iTrip Vacations, we recommend that you rent through their site instead of on Airbnb/VRBO to avoid their fees.
