The theme is "Together is the most wonderful place to be." It's a small, intimate wedding, meant to amplify the vibes of a hip and modern Thanksgiving dinner (minus the drama and the turkey). The best way to describe the vibe is to check out the venue itself - http://barrelandbeam.com/event/.
The theme is pretty casual and cozy, so we want our guests to feel that way, too! No need for ball gowns or tuxedos - the dress code is semi-formal/dressy casual. Feel free to iron out your best khakis and wear your glitziest sweater, or put on your beloved cocktail dress that you've been waiting to air out since before the pandemic.
We have decided to have a kid-free wedding. Set up a sitter and enjoy a night out celebrating a wedding at one of Marquette's best breweries! If you have questions about this, please reach out to Alyssa or Lucas directly.
Due to the intimacy of the venue, we are unable to extend invites for plus ones, unless otherwise specified (i.e. you are able to RSVP for them online).
You can arrive beginning at 5:00 p.m. to grab a beer before the ceremony begins at 5:30. Please don't be late!
While we're hoping that we will be able to have a safe wedding and that COVID-19 won't be a huge threat to the day, we are creating a back up plan in case we're not able to host the wedding we are currently planning. We will be keeping everyone up-to-date (if you know Alyssa, you know this won't be an issue), but as of right now, everything is a big ol' question mark. Stay tuned for this one!
